Plastic Bumper Repair

In many cases we can repair the dents in plastic bumpers. Sometimes there is missing paint or paint transfer from whatever impacted the cover.  I can buff paint transfer off, but I cannot personally touch-up or paint it. In these next examples the repair could not be finished to 100% completion due to the severity and depth of the impacts.  Notice the crumpled state of the bumper cover? I re-created the body lines and contours to a visibly unnoticeable state, but there are still undulations.  In most cases the client will be satisfied with this type of repair for $150 or less as opposed to a Body Shop who will NOT repair a plastic bumper.  They will only REPLACE it for an average cost over $700. In cases where there is little to no paint damage and no tears in the bumper ... many choose the option of a 90% or better repair by DENTcrafters for about 20% of the charge for body shop replacement.

I put the next 3 photos to show you damage that CAN be repaired, but punctures, deep cracking of the plastic and extreme missing paint would need to be addressed by a bumper refinishing specialist. They can fill, sand and professionally paint it, but I am not working any longer with the ONLY person I would refer for this type of repair.
